Banff (& Beyond) Packing List

If you follow me on Instagram, then you are more than well aware that I have been in Banff National Park (and the surrounding areas) in Alberta, Canada for a little while now. It was a place that was on my travel bucket list for quite some time, and I am so excited that I finally made it out here. It was kind of a hike getting here (no pun intended), but so, so worth it. Honestly, it is even more breathtaking in person than it is in all of the amazing photos I had seen of before. Somehow, it is just too stunning to capture with a camera.

Anyways, as per usual, I overpacked just a tad on this trip. If there were such a thing as Overpackers Anonymous, I would be the first person to show up to the meetings and the last person to leave… I need all the help I can get. For some unknown reason, I always think I am going to need more options and outfits than I ever end up wearing — I don’t know how I haven’t learned by now! This trip in particular, though, I have been even more surprised by how much never even got taken out of my suitcase! That being said, I thought it might be helpful to compile a quick little packing list for you, in case you are planning a trip to the Canadian Rockies like me, or anywhere else where you will be spending most of your time outdoors, whether it be hiking, camping, canoeing, etc.

Summer is the perfect time to head to the mountains or lakes — I have a few trips planned to the Adirondacks (a bit closer to home!) this summer, and I know this checklist will come in handy for me then, so I’m hoping the same goes for you. Happy glamping!

Lastly, to get even more specific with my packing list suggestions, I wanted to quickly share a few of my favorite pieces that I brought on this trip, along with some items on my wishlist for my summer trips to the ADK. You can find them below 🙂

blue nikes // pink water bottle // herschel backpack // classic sunnies

    • Hi Megan! So glad you asked. I mostly use Lightoom to edit, but occasionally dabble in Photoshop if I need something a little more intense done to the photo. Let me know if you have any other questions!! Thanks so much for stopping by. xx
